Just imagine.
Imagine having the tools to navigate life with the strength, confidence, and energy to rise with the tides and flow with the lows, no matter what you're handed.
We're not all born with those tools. Sometimes, we have to build them from scratch. Sometimes, we need some help.
My name is Mike Blumberg, Master Certified Professional Coach, and I'd like to help you on your journey.

I suffered with depression almost my whole life, and in 2017 was formally diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder. I've worked tremendously hard to recover from my depression, and am proud to say that I've conquered it.
Now I want to help you do the same.

When we combine my coaching, mentoring, and therapeutic energy techniques with your hard work, your growth and healing pivot from possible to probable.
Approach Toward Your Recovery
It is important that my clients are in a stage of active recovery. Following the same principles as addiction recovery, the first 2 stages (Pre-contemplation and Contemplation) are all about the individual looking within to find the will and strength to ask for help.
Active recovery includes the last 3 stages - Preparation, Action, and Maintenance - when the individual has found the strength to outwardly become an active participant in their own recovery.
Preparation Stage
The Hardest Steps On The Journey
Asking for help is not easy. Your loved ones, PCP, Therapist, Prescriber, among others are critical to your recovery. During this stage, I coach and mentor clients to build their recovery team.
Action Stage
The Ups & Downs Along The Way
Once the pieces are in place, it is not a straight shot to recovery. Like any hero's journey, there are trials and tribulations along the way. During this stage, we work with the advice of your providers to define, refine, and achieve your goals using a continuous improvement methodology.
Maintenance Stage
The Realization That You've Got This
As my daughter once reminded me, practice makes progress. In maintenance, we regularly practice grounding our thoughts, clearing negative energy, and protect ourselves from future incursions of depressive episodes. Maintenance is critical to any long-term recovery.
